Beyond the Obstacle

The Obstacle is always what fate resolves to. “All roads lead to Rome” can be said to read ‘We all will die some day’ although the second is fatalistic and holds no promises, both are “closed” destinations with inherent myriad directions to, and Obstacles. The volatility of the Universe, or our neighbors, can be the same – except, we are an advanced evolving species who can not only conquer the Universe, we can – in theory, master ourselves to a degree by creating our own sovereign spaces – even when the megaphones are programming our demise, in silense and harmony you can create your own music (listen), learn, and read. Wars like Sports can have predefined goals and rewards. Carl Sagan said: “We are Star Stuff” (therefore, competition for the same space is a given; although, in those cases the Event Horizons are also players) ; Mohammed’s Medina said: ‘respective finances and governance within a shared space’ is eventful especially when the sharing is to survive a common danger; In this case: Extinction. If “We will all die some day” is true, then its only true if Science and Mankind stopped inventing. Personally, my belief in Science is that we can not only Conquer the Universe, we can also consciously live forever. The only Obstacle is our reactive Animal Nature that we need and will always need to symbiotically coexsist with, and accept the possibility of an evolutionary regenerating life force. Science, at this moment, is knocking on that door. The best way to answer, is to be alive to welcome it. ©Juliette Jenner THE DAILY BARRISTER™ , NY, NY 10185-1718
