The object of Journalism is to separate ourselves. Unfortunately, “Freedom of the Press” is more likely to include our predudices, intuitions, popular political notions, and opinions. Our included arts, be those photos of war zones, or cartoons, though sad, funny or insightful, always cause a bias, a bent. Its entertainment after all and all sides steer towards those directions: be those the blood shed of Ramadan, or the Sports winners, bruised and battered, holding up their Trophies. The recent deaths of Journalists is the fear of being misunderstood, not being taken seriously, not respected; anger, unification, and purpose, diluted. Its all serious. But in good fun, if all are included, then all are served. Humor can defuse, but, at all times, what is it that we find so funny? ©Juliette Jenner THE DAILY BARRISTER™ New York, NY 10185-1718
